This is a presentation of recent narratives that are based on the artist’s body as a medium for conversation. The body here is a manifestation of constant re-negotiations of the self (or non-identity) in its immediate environment, a humorous enactment of urban life’s contradictions emerging out of a pluralistic socio-political context, and a solitary regurgitation in the age of  a post-duchampian crisis that inevitably catch itself in the polemic cycle of object representations and human (un)conciousness. As such, is a desire to be contentedly awakened to the human condition. [attached: Toronto Free Gallery / FADO International Visiting Artists Series 2010, photo by Henry Chan]
